Kitchen Management Have an adult show you how to use kitchen tools, get dressed for cooking (cover hair so you won't get hair in the food and wash hands with soap and water), take out all tools and ingredients needed for creating your pizza, measure ingredients and put them all in one place so you know you have enough, always use hot pads to handle anything hot, keep a damp cloth or paper towel nearby to wipe up anything you spill as soon as you spill it, sharp knives are dangerous (always hold food firmly on a cutting board and keep your fingers out of the way when you use a sharp knife-never hold food in your hands when you cut it), put away all the ingredients you have used, wash-dry and put away equipment used.

Biscuit Dough For Crust Ingredients: shortening, "all purpose flour," 1 package (10 biscuits) refrigerated, 1 - 8 ounce can pizza sauce, 1 - 4 ounce package shredded mozzarella cheese (1 cup). For beginners, use one or more of the following toppings: sliced pepperoni, sliced hot dogs, chopped green pepper, pickle relish, sliced olives, (add other favorites).

Equipment: can opener, baking sheet, cutting board, rolling pin, ruler, measuring spoons, hot pads, pancake turner.

Instructions Using Biscuit Dough (baking in 425 degree oven- 10 to 15 minutes):  With adult help, turn oven to 425 degrees. Grease a baking sheet with shortening. Sprinkle cutting board with some flour. Pull biscuits apart and put one biscuit on the floured board. Use rolling pin to roll out biscuit until it is a circle 4 inches across and put it on baking sheet. Spoon about 1 &1/2 tablespoons of pizza sauce on the biscuit and spread evenly. Place favorite toppings on biscuit. With adult help place pizza in hot oven and bake until crust is brown which should take 10 to 15 minutes. If halves of English muffins are used, baking should take only about 7 minutes as muffin half is substitute for unbaked dough.
